About me

Hello, my name is Marcus Cazzola and I'm a Software Engineer at The GD Studio where I'm currently dedicated to developing our in-house game engine, Glitch. This technology is built using C++, and I'm excited to be a part of the team pushing the boundaries of what's possible in game development. I joined The GD Studio as a Game Programming Intern from August 2023 to April 2024. Since April 2024, I’ve continued at the studio as a full-time developer. I'm also particularly fascinated with the possibilities of Virtual Reality (VR) and Artificial Intelligence (AI).

My passion for game development began at the age of 16 when my school acquired two HTC Vive VR headsets. After school, I would usually spend my time programming small VR prototypes in Unity. My interest in AI and machine learning was sparked during the summer of 2019 when I decided to create an AI stocks trading bot. This bot was designed to analyze past price data and execute trades autonomously.
